Strategic plans
The Council's strategic and business plans flow from our statutory duty to protect the health and safety of the public, by ensuring New Zealand's doctors are fit and competent to practice medicine. These plans set out our key strategic goals, the outcomes that flow down from our goals, and how we can achieve these outcomes, to meet our statutory duties.
Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (CHRE) performance review of the Medical Council
In late 2009 we asked the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (CHRE) to undertake a full performance review of the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). This performance review was carried out in March and April 2010.
Current business reports and strategic plans
